Dr. Tom Gutberg, DMD

Dentist and Practice Owner

“As a dentist, my main goal is to listen to my patients and address their dental concerns. My patients’ comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and utilizing the best technology in dentistry allows me to provide the most advanced treatment options for achieving and maintaining a healthy smile.”

Dr. Gutberg grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel and served as an officer in the military in the Intelligence Corps. He then moved to the United States and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. Following this, he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving his doctorate, Dr. Gutberg completed a residency in New York City where he trained in advanced clinical techniques. Life then took him to Michigan, where Dr. Gutberg practiced dentistry while his wife completed her master’s degree in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Gutberg enjoys living in the Denver area and exploring Colorado. In his free time, Dr. Gutberg enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, and traveling with his family.

I have been in the dental field for over 34 years. I started my career as a Certified Dental Assitant and later earned my Dental Hygiene Degree from the University of Colorado. My priority is to provide a personal and gentle experience for my patients.

I enjoy catching up with my patients every 6 months. It's amazing when you treat the family and just watch the children grow into young adults. Every day is exciting. I love what I do and love to meet new patients.

As a Colorado native, I enjoy the mountains and all they have to offer. You can often find me camping and hiking with family and friends.

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and am a tried and true Buckeye. Every Saturday in the fall you will find my whole family in Scarlet and Gray cheering them on! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Health from The University of Mount Union in 2011.

I met my husband in 2010 which is when the adventures began! After we got married, he joined The United States Air Force which has taken us from Coast to Coast. Most recently landing us here in Colorado. We both love the outdoors, so Colorado was love at first (mountain) sight! We have 2 boys and love getting any chance to explore and get away from the city to enjoy some fresh mountain air.

As your Office Manager I want to provide you with the best experience you can have. I will always provide you with above and beyond service, greet you with a smile and hope that you leave as happy as can be. I can't wait to see you!

Although I grew up in California, Colorado has been great to me. I love the people and had the opportunity to continue my education, receiving my Bachelor of Science from CU Denver. After I finished school, I was offered the chance to move into the world of dentistry. As the office manager, my goal is to help patients understand every aspect of their dental care. I learn so much every day and enjoy talking and joking with our patients.

Some of my hobbies include movies, board games, music, and trying to get in my 10,000 steps per day! I also enjoy playing classical piano, but can’t ignore some of the awesome hits from the 80’s.

I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and have lived in Aurora for almost three years. Initially I began working at Blue Sky Smiles as an extern. At the end of my term Dr. Gutberg asked me if I would like to join the TEAM. Obviously I said yes - and I am so happy working here.

In my free time, I enjoy going to or participating in sporting events and being outdoors with my wonderful husband.

I became a dental assistant because I love helping others and I enjoy being able to really see them smile.
